Granada enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. The best time to visit for cycling is during spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November) when temperatures are more moderate and the weather is generally pleasant.

Summer months can be extremely hot, especially in the city and lower elevations, with temperatures often exceeding 35°C. The Sierra Nevada mountains provide some relief, but even there, temperatures can be challenging during peak summer.

Winter is generally mild in the city, but the mountains can be cold and occasionally snowy. This makes Granada a great winter cycling destination for those who prefer cooler temperatures.
